Howdy Doody show - a national children’s show popular in the early years. I did not watch this show regularly but a photograph of me with a raccoon (“Coonie”) on my shoulder was once shown by host “Buffalo Bob” during the program as part of a contest to pick a Howdy Doody look-alike.
Disneyland - regularly watched this in the 1950s. American Motors was a sponsor.
Alfred Hitchcock presents - watched during my high-school years in the 1950s
Dean Martin show - early 1970s
Miami Vice - regularly watched during the 1980s
Late Night Show with David Letterman - Although I often watched Johnny Carson, I was a more frequent viewer when David Letterman hosted the NBC show.
Rachel Maddow show - Lately, I often tune in to see her show on MSNBC.
During all periods, I have been a steady viewer of the national and local news programs. I am less into sports.
